LUMLEY & CGU INSURANCE WITHDRAW FROM HOME WARRANTY INSURANCE

As of 13 July 2009 both Westfarmers (Lumley General Insurance) and CGU Insurance have both announced their withdrawal from the Home Warranty Market.

Lumley & CGU have advised they will no longer issue certificates after 30 November 2009.

This means all builders who have eligibility with these insurers will have to submit new applications for Eligibility and become approved with new insurers well before that date.

This now leaves just three (3) insurers so act now, don’t leave it until the last minute. Avoid delays by allowing plenty of time for your new assessment. By applying with SHC we provide the easiest application available.
